Khaja Ahmed is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine, fellowship in Nephrology and a post-doctoral fellowship in Immunology and served as Asst. professor of Medicine at UCLA in the Nephrology division at Harbor-UCLA Medical center for several years before entering private practice in 1997 in Torrance California. His practice involves a wide spectrum of in patient and out-patient nephrology and medicine patients, for whom he brings to bear much expertise and enthusiasm. He has Active staff privileges at Torrance and Providence Medical Hospital centers and many of the South Bay dialysis centers. He also serves as a Medical Director of various dialysis centers. Dr. Ahmed is a long-time resident of the south Bay and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his family, reading, biking and many outdoor activities.

Maryam Gulraiz, MSN, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse practitioner. She received her nursing degree from JacksonVille University. She worked in ICU and ER settings for four years, she then obtained her Masters as a Nurse Practitioner. She attended Charles R Drew University of Medicine and Sciences. She has worked in wide variety of clinical situations including Critical Care, Urgent care, Women’s Health, and Family Medicine and Internal Medicine. Her office practice involves caring for patients with acute and chronic medical illnesses, kidney disease, hypertension, diabetes, and various chronic medical conditions. She has privileges in several local dialysis centers where she cares for patients on chronic dialysis with Dr. Ahmed. She is a keen advocate for whole person care and brings a lot of energy to her work. She is a resident of the South Bay. In her leisure, she likes to read, hike, and spend time with her family.

Dieu Nguyen, MSN, FNP-C, is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. She received her degree from Samuel Merritt University in San Francisco. As an RN She has extensive experience in dealing with patients with Neurologic and Cardiac problems as well as managing patients with hypertension and stroke. She is presently focused in caring for chiatric patients and those with acute and chronic medical diseases. She has privileges in several local dialysis centers were she cares for patients on chronic hemo and peritoneal dialysis.
Dee also likes to contribute her spare time to participating in medical missions across different countries. She is part of the S.A.V.E Myanmar organization that work in conjunction with healthcare providers and students to offer medical care and aid to orphan children of impoverish countries such as Myanmar (Burma).
